Melanie Gittiban is a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator and Chief Operating Officer of Cantex Continuing Care Network (CCCN). She is responsible for producing quality outcomes in all clinical and operational activities related to the company’s skilled nursing facilities.

Ms. Gittiban began her long-term care career as a licensed nursing home administrator with Extendicare Health Facilities in 1998. In 1999, she joined HealthSouth, where she developed her skills in finance, employee relations and team management as Regional Director of Human Resources, Quality Assurance and Risk Management. In 2002, Ms. Gittiban accepted Human Resources Director position at a regional service company, and in 2003 was named Administrator for a skilled nursing facility with Daybreak Venture, LLC. She began her tenure at Cantex in 2005 as Regional Director of Operations and was named Chief Operating Officer in 2010.

Ms. Gittiban’s caregiver background and understanding of the full continuum of elder care bring a patient-level understanding to her position. She received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997.
